Sam is a third generation prosthetist who felt from an early age the calling to help restore function to the amputee community. His grandfather was one of the first 100 Certified Orthotists in the country specializing in pediatric Orthotic care at the Shriners Hospital. His father continued in his footsteps working with the pediatric population and expanded his focus to include prosthetic solutions. Sam was exposed to the field from a young age working with his father and started learning by spending time in the fabrication facility as a teenager. He felt drawn to the incredible advancements in prosthetics and graduated from school at the age of 21. He has been with Orthocraft since completing his residency 7 years ago. From hip disarticulation level prosthetics to upper extremity and partial hand solutions, Sam has continued advancing his mastery of the sophisticated technologies that are available in order to provide the highest level of care for his patients.
